May Newsletter
Welcome to the SynergyOS Monthly Newsletter for May 2025
As we move into the summer, our focus is on foundational improvements that will enable new capabilities for all SynergyOS users—business and, soon, personal. Here’s a preview of what’s in progress:
Building the “Common” Infrastructure
We’re consolidating all user and group authentication into a new, central Common Infrastructure. This is a significant technical milestone:
- Why this matters: It sets the stage for the upcoming Synergy Federated Network, enabling seamless collaboration across SaaS, dedicated, and self-managed deployments.
- How it helps: With a unified authentication system, organizations can connect, invite, and work with users from any other SynergyOS deployment securely—removing silos and paving the way for smarter, cross-company workflows.
Personal Accounts Are Coming
We’re taking the first steps to support personal users with direct sign-up and automatic workspace creation. In the near future, anyone will be able to use SynergyOS—not just organizations or teams. This shift will make SynergyOS more open, flexible, and relevant for individual professionals.
Streamlining Navigation and Repo Switching
We’re redesigning the home screen and navigation experience to make managing multiple repositories—whether business or personal—more intuitive. Users will be able to view, access, and switch between all their workspaces from one place.
Preparing All Platforms
These backend and design changes are being integrated into our mobile app, add-ins, and Synergy Tools to ensure a seamless experience everywhere you use SynergyOS.
Roadmap
In June, we’ll continue working on these developments. Look for a detailed update, with screenshots and hands-on features—in July.
As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
