February Newsletter
Welcome to the SynergyOS Monthly Newsletter for February 2025
This month, we’re thrilled to announce a major step forward in collaborative communication with our new chat feature, plus a range of task management enhancements that make organizing and editing your tasks easier than ever. We’ve also got a brief look at where we’re headed, including further chat improvements and new mobile apps.
New Chat
We’ve introduced a chat platform inspired by popular tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. However, we’ve added unique organizational features to keep your work tidy and accessible:
- Folder-Based Organization: Each chat is tied to a specific folder, giving you a clear, discoverable structure without clutter.
- Custom Permissions: Limit visibility to only the relevant team members. Currently, you can manage who can view or post in each chat. We’re exploring additional permission options based on user feedback.
- Integration with MS Teams: A built-in “Call” button instantly launches a Microsoft Teams call. We plan on expanding with more integration options in the future.
Tasks Improvements and Chat
We’ve upgraded the task manager to help you stay on top of your work even more efficiently:
- Preview View: You can now see the folder path of each task in “Preview” mode. This makes it simple to sort tasks by folder, client, or project.
- Simplified Editing: Tasks can be edited directly within the preview view, reducing clicks and saving time.
- Subtasks: Within the task description, you can now add subtasks to break complex goals into manageable steps.
- Dedicated Chat: Each task includes its own built-in chat thread, so you can keep conversation and updates tied to the task itself.
Roadmap
With Email and Calendar fully deployed, here’s what we’re focusing on next:
- Additional Chat Features: More enhancements and push notifications to keep you in the loop.
- New Mobile App: A complete rebuild of our iOS and Android apps for a better, faster experience on the go.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on these improvements, and we welcome any ideas on what you’d like to see next.
