Tags in SynergyOS enhance the organization of your content by allowing multi-dimensional categorization, alongside the traditional folder structure.

Tags are designed to categorize files across multiple dimensions, serving as a complement to the conventional hierarchical folder structure. This dual system of organization facilitates the efficient structuring and retrieval of documents in numerous ways. For instance, standard document types such as internal memos, proposals, or models can be tagged accordingly, as well as categorization by department like sales, marketing, or legal. This extends to tagging by clients or areas of expertise such as healthcare, industrials, or financials, enabling an organized representation of files associated with teams, departments, workstreams, projects, or clients.

Applying Multiple Tags

A file and folder can have multiple tags, enhancing the avenues through which files can be organized and located.

Browsing Tags

The tags employed within your organization are accessible and browsable in the left-hand tab, providing a clear overview of the organizational schema at a glance. This feature facilitates easy navigation and retrieval of tagged files, streamlining your organizational workflow.
