Overview

The Database tab in SynergyOS provides a centralized view of all data items within your organization. This utility allows users to browse the entire folder structure and access every item stored in SynergyOS, including files, notes, tasks, emails, calendar events, and chats. The Database tab is designed to offer a complete and organized snapshot of your company’s information, with powerful filtering options to tailor what you see in each folder.

Key Features

  • Unified Data Access: Browse all data types (files, notes, tasks, emails, calendar events, chats) in a single view.
  • Folder Structure: Navigate through your organization’s folder system to locate specific items quickly.
  • Custom Filters: Filter the items you see in each folder to focus on specific types of content or metadata.
  • Permission Management: Access and visibility of data are controlled by the same robust permission system used across SynergyOS.

The Database tab allows for seamless navigation across the folder structure:

Filters and Customization

SynergyOS Database offers flexible filtering to enhance the user experience:

  • Item Type Filtering: Choose to display only specific types of items, such as files or tasks, within any folder.
  • Metadata Filters: Filter items by metadata such as due dates for tasks, tags for files, or sender for emails.
  • Save Filters: Save commonly used filters for easy access, allowing users to quickly refine their view when needed.

Use Cases

The Database tab is particularly useful for:

  • Project Management: Easily locate all data related to a specific project, whether it’s in the form of notes, tasks, or emails.
  • Data Audits: Perform quick audits on folder contents, filtering by file types, dates, or other key metadata to ensure compliance or completeness.
  • Centralized Information Access: Quickly locate relevant chats, calendar events, or files when collaborating with teams.
